(The story so far: Chapter 12 and 3)



She figured out train was the best transportation. From Pune to Delhi. Then delhi to Shimla. Then a bus to Kasauli.
Her parents were not to know about the secret rendezvous.

The street where Sir lived was legendary. So was he. More famous than this picturesque little hamlet in the interior of Himalayas.
She had risen early, had tea and poha in a small hotel and asked the owner about the way to Gordon road. He had explained in detail, as he was eager to have conversation with a youngster for a change, rather than the illiterate passer-bys.
Then she started walking towards his home. Crossing many indescript squares and narrow stone paved lanes. She reached the corner of the road leading to her destination and gazed at the house for a moment.
